March 28, 2010: Premiere of Hosanna Fanfare for antiphonal brass ensemble
during the 10:30 a.m. service at Valley Community Baptist Church, Avon, CT
May 1, 2010: Premiere of Songs and Dances for quartet of piano and winds
at Brian Ellingboe's bassoon recital, 8:30 p.m. in Madison, WI
Spring 2010 (date TBA): premiere of Vails Gate Blues by the Vails Gate
Elementary School band in Newburgh, NY
May 27, 2007: Nate Brown participated in the Hartt/Dartmouth Composer Exchange
at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. He composed a new piece for trombone with
electronics and performed it on this concert, and he performed in John Zorn's Cobra.
April 28, 2007: Nate wrote a new piece for solo cello in approximately one hour
and it was premiered the same day in the first Momentum concert at the Hartt School.
Places to Play In and Pray In was premiered
by the Talujon Percussion Quartet on February 13, 2007 at the Hartt School.
The Whooshing Noise They Make As They Go By was performed by Dave Camwell
on three recitals in September 2006, in addition to the premiere in Slovenia in July.
